La Cosechadora tells the story of a kid who leaves school to work in the fields with his grandfather in Guadalajara, Spain. It's the middle of the 20th Century and more Spaniards worked on the land than in either industry or service, however, the industrialization of the fields is advancing very fast and field workers who don't own lands are starting to worry. The grandfather will send his grandson for an adventure hoping he will reconsider continuing his studies.
