4 pages comic set in La Sierra Norte, Guadalajara (Spain) during the 1940s. 
The story shows the rural life in a small village , and how the children were expected to work whenever they were not attending to school (or even instead of).
Starting from this general idea, I wanted to contrapose the hard life conditions of the time (right after the Spanish Civil War) with the relationship between the kid and his grandfather.
The grandpa makes up a story about an imaginary bird (gamusino, from the Spanish folklore, the equivalent to the French dahu or the English snipe hunt) with the intention of his grandson coming back to school, and to appreciate the opportunies that he could get.
The title, Ajuria Vitoria, is a threshing machine model that back then, revoluztionized the way people worked the lands.
